This girl (Call her Cynthia) (same grade as me) told her best friend she liked me. I have really good hearing, so I don't think they knew I could here. Cynthia's best friend also asked me if I had a girlfriend and I didn't. This was in 9th grade btw. However, Cynthia's best friend kept asking me stupid questions for some strange reason, like do you know where this street is or is laffy taffy a candy or a song (she was referring to the song.) Whenever mine and Cynthia's eyes meet, she smiles, but that's usually when her best friend is asking the stupid questions. Do you think this is a joke or Cynthia really likes me. I hardly know her. Should I ask her out anyway or should I wait until she builds up the courage to ask me or should I just do nothing?

You shouldn't ask her out or date anyone unless you know them well. Get to know the girl! Talk to her..find out what she likes to do, etc. become her friend, and believe me. When a girl likes a guy, especialy teenage girls, and a guy starts talking to a girl, the girl is going to go crazy. It sounds like this girl really likes you already. Her and her friend are just messing with you, playing with you because the girl likes you and she wants to talk to you and the only way she can without being obvious is through her friend saying dumb stuff. The girl likes you. When a girl batts her eyes at you and is always smiling at you, SHE LIKES YOU. no questions asked. its up to you though. Girls want to be chased after, so chase her and flirt with her. Next time, YOU be the one to talk to her first. CHASE HER. thats what she wants and it makes her like you even more. I think that you should talk to Cynthia and see how she with you. If she is shy or doesn't know how to act around you then she likes you. Dont do nothing because you might regret it later in life and always wonder what if.

ASK HER OUT! girls like guys who r comfident an brave. jus make sure whether u guys lik each other or not show her a really good time so even if it doesnt work out with yall she wud still tell her friends that she had a great time with you which will entail get you popular w/ even more ladies.

Well, personally I think you are too young to be thinking of dating. You should be focusing on your education, but hormones, as they are at your age, be a man and ask the girl out. It's not ladylike for a girl to ask you out.

Get to know her. If she likes you, you will want to get know her more too. Don't jump to ask her out. If after chatting with her casually, you will know if you really want to get to know her better...and if she wants to get to know you. Or if you feel comfortable enough around her, then ask her how she feels about you. Girls are giddy and you never know when they are being sincere or silly. If and when you may ask her out, be sure to do it when she is not around her friends. She may not say what she wants to say if her friends are around.

Go for it. Ask her out. Her friend is probably in love with you too, so she is trying it interfere. Her friend is probably wanting her to ask you out for her. So just get the friend out of the middle of you two and you go ask her out. Good luck.
