We were all starting to get along so well, as soon as a question is posted about Italy's victory ...There's World War III

CAN WE ALL TRY TO GET ALONG....PEACE!!!!

Lady_Starlight : we're not trying to justify our win...we know that we deserved it..nobody on this forum ever gave us a chance to celebrate our victory...always criticizing, calling us cheaters, divers...You know that my #1 team is Italy but I also like Germany...when they won against Portugal I was so happy for them. I don't criticize I just defend my team from people like you!

Peace does not seem to last long Juventina. I'm with you, lets just respect each others similarities and differences. Just respect each other,. I think its not about Italy's victory as much as how some choose to word their questions. Sheesh I thought all this was over. There seems to be more arguing now the WC is over than there was while it was being played. Come on people, lets be nice to each other and maybe a little more considerate of each others feelings.

personally, i hope this category will be discontinued very soon. i guess that there will never be any 'peace' as long as some of us are after the predicate 'i'm the only one who's right', no matter if a question is posted or answered. we all have different opinions that have a history, so if we don't stop asking or arguing about something that we cannot change no matter how long we discuss about it, we're into a vicious cirlcle that never stops - just see lebanon and israel: they also will never stop arguing and bombing...

my question though is: are we our opinions or is there something behind that? i know it's not easy to give up your own point of view but i guess that if you do and you share your opinions without wanting other persons to take them over, communicating with eachother in a peaceful and respectful way might become a reality some day.

Hey Juventina, you are so right, but don't worry, it's just a couple of people overreacting.

When questions like "did Italy really deserve to win the World Cup?" or "Weren't Italy the biggest cheaters?" were posted, these people never bothered to post counterattacking questions. Why? Because, of course, they agreed!

For once that someone actually has praised Italy's performance in a question, they start complaining that "this forum has been taken over by the Italian fans" who "rub Italy's victory in other people's faces" because "not only can't Italy play with dignity, but also they can't win with dignity".

Now, couldn't these people just lose with dignity and accept that Germany lost and France lost because so is football, sometimes you lose, and sometimes you win? Nope. Frings was suspended because Italy complained in order to get him out of the game, and that's why Germany lost. Zidane was red carded because Materazzi knew he would headbutt him if he insulted him, so it was Italy's strategy to get him out and that's why France lost. Bottom line, Italy is a dirty winner. Geez, the World Cup ended exactly one month ago, and they still can't get over it and they keep looking for lame excuses to delude themselves with!

Everybody here is free to believe whatever rocks their boat... so if they can believe such nonsense, why can't we also believe that our team's victory was well deserved, which, by the way, is a fact and the truth?

Let me just say that if Italy is so sure of their win, why do they have to keep justifying it? Catphotographer: Dikk did not just praise Italy's win, he insulted other teams by calling them cheaters and crybabies! So he got what he asked for. If he can talk about my teams like this, then I will talk about Italy the way I have answered.
