Cingular cell activation..?

I just got a cell phone from Cingular in today that I ordered. I am charging it as I type this, lol and I'm curious about the activation... After charging it, it mentions after 2 hours if it isn't active, to call... How do I know if it's activated or not? Will I receive a message? Ugh *mumbles*

Oh and I'm not sure if this would matter.. but I am on a monthly plan as well.

Yes you might recieve a txt from Cingular.. Just a welcome txt..

Or just try it out after few hours.. try making a call or call your cell phone..

Then you will know its activated..

If not.. call Customer Care..
