I have the 12th pick in my 12 team league. I hoping that Ronnie Brown will fall to me, but I highly doubt it cause my friend has the 10th pick and I think he's going to take him. My question is...should I take RB RB or RB WR with the 12th and 13th picks? Im really thinking about taking Willis Mcgahee with the 13 pick because he's going to be an everydown back for the bills + he rushed for over 1000 yards with a pretty shity O-line. Well, if anyone has some tips or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

1. Peyton Manning if he is still there. It would be a steal.
2. RB like Cadillac Williams or McGahee
3. WR like Steve Smith or T.O. or Torry Holt

Are you people drunk? Peyton Manning might not make it out of the top five, let alone fall to 12. If here's there, you ABSOLUTELY take him.

More realistically, you'll want to go RB-WR because, while you'll be at the tail end of the initial RB run, you'll be at the front end of the WR run. That doesn't mean you won't be able to get a decent RB. You should still be able to get Ronnie Brown, Lamont Jordan, Corey Dillon ... all would be solid choices.
As for WR, T.O. and Marvin Harrison may be gone, but Steve Smith, Larry Fitzgerald, Chris Chambers all should put up good numbers this year.
And look for Joe Horn to be the big sleeper this year, as he was putting up decent numbers with a crappy QB and now has Drew Brees.

I think you've got to go RB/WR, unless your league is off its rocker and Peyton is still on the board.

Either way, you've almost got to pick a RB because you won't pick again until the end of round 3, and that's a rough place to get your first RB. In reality, Peyton not being on the board may make things easier for you, because you will definately wait a while on a signal caller then, and I'd really want to grab a WR stud on the turn, because it may help equal things out against some of the teams who went RB in round 1, and in all liklihood, you'd be picking the first or second WR drafted. Since the depth at WR is a little weak this year, I will probably look to draft one early if I can.

I doubt Ronnie Brown will fall to your friend at 10th.

A lot of people are snagging Steve Smith at the back end of the first; I recommend you don’t do that. You will be better served by taking RB RB and looking to grab someone like Westbrook HOWEVER if you grab him then do not grab someone like Dom Davis, you don’t want to have your first 2 picks be injury prone guys. Westbrook is moving up on most people charts because of the rhetoric coming out of PHI and the show he put on vs the raiders 1st team the other day.

If you get a RB RB tandem of Westbrook and McGahee you'll be in decent shape.

I'd say you have to go RB-RB - you don't get another pick until 36-37 and there may not be any RB left by then.

If you can get 2 of the following RB's at 12/13 you'll be in good shape:

Ronnie Brown, Cadillac Williams, Rudi Johnson (he's been slipping it seems) or Lamont Jordan (unlikeliest to be there still).

It's a little early for Mcgahee, Davis, Dillon, and Westbrook, but you may still want to take a shot at one of them if you have to.

Everyone who has answered has given solid advice. All I can say is this. When your pick comes then take the best RB on the board then take a top of the line WR. Steve Smith, TO, Holt will all be high draft picks. DO not overlook Chris Chambers he is going to have a break out year this year with Culpepper at the helm.

Yeah that sounds pretty good. I would take if still there Ronnie Brown, Cadillac Williams, Peyton Manning, T.O., Steve Smith. I think anyone of those would be Ok. I forgot Domanick Davis. Good Luck and that sucks you got the 12th pick. Good Luck

You could try to go for Westbrook and a top notch WR. Westbrook is not only expected to run more this year but also get more receiving yards. For the WR you could get T.O., Chad Johnson, Steve Smith or even Santana Moss.
