Well I don't think it is extremely gay, considering it is a type of music and cannot like the same gender of music because music doesn't have genders. Also, I do like some of the music. But I agree with you that Metal is the best kind of music ever in my opinion.

Okay..Emo music soo does not suck! i mean come on Metal doesn't either. All rock music originated from one type of music. So basically Emo music is a toned down version of metal but in a way alot more people can like. I guess thats the best way to xplain it.Emo music is awesome.Metal is awesome. Rock is awesome!Face it..it's all awesome! lol

emo music is not gay.
i am not saying metal isn't good or anything cuz it is good sometimes.
but i just don't find emo music as gay.

You do,obviously. And so do I. Metal is not "popular", because the sheep (consumers) who decide what will sell like gay, non-threatening, disposable pablum. And, they are weak, trend-following lambs, fit only for slaughter.
