Who else is into metaphysics? Personally I'm deep into but it's so sad that I'm not able to talk with the people around me about it because it's too OUT there for them to understand. It deals with alot of profound stuff that the average person would run from. But people fear what they don't understand.

Jesus was a metaphysician---go figure---not just anybody would believe that because He's been idolized...

Metaphysics is the broad study of "Who You Really Are"---never give it up---for through your studies, you will comprehend truth.

We are all One and should have already begun to behave as though we understand this concept.

You go Girl---continue in your seeking and you will find....

Take care

There are a lot of places you can talk about Metaphysics. If you look through the yahoo groups under spirituality or religion you will find tons of groups about metaphysics. The only problem about it is that metaphysics is such a wide range that you really have to know what you believe. Metaphysics covers every single human belief, from fairies to Christ and so on. So good luck finding the right Group.

There is a VERY good discussion group I belong to- IndigoAdults@yahoogroups.com Different topics are discussed continually, and there are over 3000 members. Read a little about what it means to be an "Indigo Child" and then check out the forum. Everythign from the mundane to the downright bizarre is discussed, and you will find a lot of answers.

Word of caution- the postings can get huge, so consider opening a separate free e-mail account to handle the volume. Often over 100 e-mails a day.

Sounds like you are an Indigo.

I have read John Dunn extensively, and I think that he has an amazing understand of metaphysics. But I also think that there have been way to many simple minded people muddying up the waters of work that is published every year. So it has lost its strength. The field needs to be more selective about who it chooses to represent it self to maintain the high standards it once had.

Metaphysics is the journey. You are just a traveller like me. Nice to have you along for the ride.

Metaphysics simply means "beyond physics", in other words, the spiritual stuff we can't see with our eyes. That means religion and thoughts about the afterlife, heaven, hell, God, etc.

Metaphysics was coined by a pagan, though, so it depends on what you want to discuss.

Is metaphysics basically the same thing as magick? Im a new age pagan and I use magick. It's just raising energy, or 'will', 'programming' that energy for a task and releasing it back out into the universe. More or less.

Fear? Run away? Out there? Can anyone produce ANY evidence of metaphysics. I don't want to believe, I want to know.
If there is evidence, bring it out and make some money. If not it's all moot.

yes, I'm into metaphysics and into theosophy. what you are saying is true, these subjects are just TOO much or TOO hard for some people to understand or even at least try to understand. they would rather dismiss it as fantasy or fiction than to allow their minds to explore other possibilities.
