Well, the obvious answer for some would be to procreate. However, it's a lot more than that -- it is a physical connection that can make you feel closer to another person emotionally. It's something that two people can share and it can be really beautiful if you truly care about the person you're having sex with.

do u mean what is the purpose of sex? if so, mainly to procreate but also to feel as physically close as possible to someone u care deeply about & love w/ all your heart & soul. it also allows 2 people to pleasure 1 another.
