Take your dog to the vet please. if he is throwing up worms in could be really bad or just common everyday worms. And depending on the type of worms yes they can be passed onto your son. And not just from the dog himself but thou the feces as well. And keep in mind dogs can lick themselves places humans cant so your son may not even need to touch the worms or feces.

Give your dog a single clove of garlic. That is meant to stop worms from living in the intestines and stomach. All other medicines might end up harming him since he's still a puppy. The worms won't hurt your son just make sure he isn't playing near it! Clean up with ammonia or some other strong bacteria killing spray so the bacteria is dead wherever the vomit was left.

My dog Jake went through the same thing, the puppies get them from there moms milk. Take your puppy to the vet A.S.A.P. it needs a shot to fix it, worms can kill your puppy, the worms are in the puppies tummy that's why it won't eat. Ask the veterinarian if your son could get hurt, they are the only ones with the real answers.

As everyone has said, your dog needs to go to the vet to be wormed. Those can be roundworms or pin worms. And yes, your son can become infested with worms as well. If he plays with the dog and then places his hands in his mouth without washing them thoroughly the eggs can be transferred to him. Same thing if he happens to come into contact with the puppies waste. Deal with this now.

He has tape worms. When their puppies, alot of times they eat their own feces, or they can even get them from walking in the feces, getting it on their paws or body and then licking it. Either call your vet and tell them your pup has tape worns and you need the medicine,, but I can tell you that their going to ask you to bring in a sample of his poop, and their going to want to see him,, which as you know, can be expensive,,, or you can buy the medicine at Petco, Petsmart, etc,, EVen Walmart carries the medicine for tape worms. It is very common in pups. And it does go away, Its not as bad a heartworms. Make sure you keep a eye on him when he goes outside to go to the bathroom because as gross as it sounds, pups eat their own poop alot!! And if hes done it once, he'll most likely do it again. Also, just to let you know, adult dogs also get tape worms if a flea gets inside their bellies,,, Watch him if hes biting/knawing from a itch. It can't pass to your son literally, but he could get sick if he was to get the feces in his mouth some how, ;) Its gross, I know,, but it'll be cured in a few days. Just get the medicine ASAP.. ;)

Sounds like he needs to get to a vet right away.....he has some sort of worm infestation. He can die from it....get him to the vet asap. Do not touch the worms with bare hands and don't dispose in your yard........

umm, he may have worms, may i suggest you take him to a vet and get some sort of medicine, and/or get him checked out by the vet, maybe the vet will know what's exactly wrong....
just hate the price you have to pay just to see what's wrong with him
i hope he gets well soon! âº

Your dog could have heartworms or something.
I would take it to the vet as soon as possible. This could becoem a terrible problem.
when they have heartworms, usually you will just need to get heartguard [not pricy at all] and maybe a few shots.
good luck, and i hope your dog gets better. :)
