You might try reading a book on the names of God. There is one by Marilyn Hickey that I read a long time ago. I think it is just called The Names of God.
A few I remember are El Shaddai, Shalom, Jehovah Jireh, and Adonai.They all mean different things.

God has many personal names each one another aspect of his nature. The ones that come to mind so far are Jehovah, Yahweh, I am to mention but 3 there are many more.

It is only a matter of our convenience. He is only one and so there is no need of a name. He is He and no one else. Each language has a word to call him. So let us not give pet names and nick names to the Creator.

All the answers are correct, except 'jimmy' which is pure fiction.
Yaweh is also right (or however you say YHWH), but 'HE' might have wished HE had actually been called 'YamYam - the magnificient miracle master of the universe'.
Of course, my answer might be pure fiction too..
p.s God should be written as capital G lowercase od. Someone answering one of my questions told me that... i might be fiction again though.
