I have found that alot of people only answer stupid questions but they never answer about anything important like God and Christianity. Why is this?

Religion = WAR
Christianity = Boring
Sex = excitement and lots of fun
God? Hum who's God? Which God? Ends up in WAR again.

Let me see.. a real church people type question? hum ?? I can't come up with any. I guess you could ask others if they read in book so and so chapter 2 line 5 and followed it with book so and so chapter 6 line 12 you would see it is ok to kill Americans and if you read the 2 word from each chapter 1st line in in book of so and so you will see why the Islam get 70 virgins for killing Americans.

I don't know .. It is too hard to talk about religion without starting a war. Can't be done.

I haven't noticed any difference, but people tend to answer questions about what they know the most about or what they care the most about. If that's true, I guess that just shows that more people care more about sex than Christianity or God. I think that's sad.

You know why I don't because that kind of stuff is just way too much for me to handle. Believe it or not, your faith has to be in tact to discuss something about God if that's who you believe in. Mine, on the other hand isn't. If you have someone asking

"WHY DO YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD IS REAL" And then have all these things on why God isn't, no one wants to see that. That is basically all that is on this freakin site. To me, religious questions are basically questions that will not have an answer unless you ask God himself so there is no point.

I disagree. The questions about God and Christianity have plenty of people answering them. There are some truly lively debates on those subjects.

Serious questions will get serious answers.

Stupid questions sometimes fall under "answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes", and so get answered.

Athiests and non-believers cannot answer serious questions about God or Christianity. They have no resources for that!

Really serious questions like: "tell me your conversion story" have answers that are too long for this forum. Those require conversations and/or email.

questions about politics and religion lead to quite a few disagreements and outright fighting.
Sex is easier to answer as it does not require as much brain work and/or resurch to find a fitting answer. there for any answeres to religous questions are being met with simple single word answers for the points rather than trying to teach others how and why they believe as they do.
It also scares most prople to think to closely about such things as God and eternity.

It doesn't take much thought to talk about sex. A real conversation about God requires much deeper reflection than most lazy humans are willing to muster.

For one, I'm a non-Christan, so I rarely have anything worthwhile to contribute. And a lot of the questions say "Christians only" and I generally respect that.
