I just closed my eyes when you asked that (as I am sure everyone who reads this question will) and I see the square outline in green ( I imagine the last image my eyes were looking at - the computer screen) in darkness...

All sorts of stuff, but usually blackness and some little spots or 'movement' when something passes in front of the light.

depending on what you were looking at before you closed your eyes, your brain transmits the image you previously were focused on and reflects the image when you close your eyes!
