Yes, when someone is very close, I always ask the due date and look at the calendar and call a date by moon phase etc.. Also storms, ie: hurricanes where the barometric presuure is dramatially changed. Gravity and pressure have a BIG pull. did not look it up but SURE there are stats on it.

I was scheduled to be induced with my first son, and that night was a full moon. When I got to the hospital, they were so full, they told me to come back later that afternoon and they'd have a bed/room for me. When I got there, I was already 3 cm dilated, so I didn't need the dilating drugs (yay!). I guess it is true...my labor started naturally without having to be induced AND there were a ton of other women there laboring too. I don't really know why this is.

Ive heard of that I think it has something to do with gravity.
the hospital says they deliver more babies on a full moon.
walking helped me go into labor but full moon didnt it was 2 days after the full moon.

yeah i've heard ob nurses say they get more women coming in in labor during full moons the ER also gets more accidents and crazy people coming in. Don't know why i know it's been studied there seems to be a connection. Babies are also born not during full moons.

I have heard that, I don't know the truth of it, but I have heard it. I am almost 38 weeks along...so we are in the same boat......so when is the next full moon? LOL

I had my baby on a full moon. She was due Feb 26 but I had her on Feb 28.

heard it, some try to dispel this notion but I work in a hospital and it does seem more full during the phase of the full moon. luck to you!

yeah, and hospitals say the same thing. Didnt work for me though. But not to be gross, an orgasm put me into labor. You might wanna try that too.
