He says that he would like to make a time in wich he could come over to explain his position and help you better understand the benefits of his program. Would you let him into your house to see what he has to say. Do you think its a good idea allowing a business with help you with your wedding and someone who promises that they can double or even tripple the amount of money you expect to make at the jack and jill!?

Don't start a marriage on the basis of sponging off your friends and relatives. Don't start a marriage on the basis of needing some outside unknown financial councillor.
If you are not old enough or proficient enough to manage your own financial affairs, then you should not get married.
Sounds to me like you are too young and too naive to get married just yet

We the surfers of cyber world meet with so many people every day. Surfing the net is the best pastime one can ever develop, as internet has the most knowledge, a surfer will never have to wait for a answer. The vast knowledge of cyber world is nothing as compared to the cyber society that it gives. Internet is a community but so vast that we need a place to make conversation easy. What more can be better than a chat room for this purpose, well a chat room and a message board along with a forum is the best combination really. I was actually looking for a place where we can find all these things with a profile and photo brouse option. Finally I got this site, this place is a very nice community where we can share every thing online. And also about the leader board, I must tell it is great. The thought of the leader board is unique, as not to many people has thought about this thing. And the method of getting the leader is very different and one must check out this site once. The cyber culture is growing, and it is about time that we find our club and that to a very different club, which is not a part of any big website house like the yahoo and google. This site am talking about has every thing that a cyber surfer ever wants. This is the website address, http://www.friendscyberclub.com/ Features of this site is: 1) chatting 2) view profiles and photos 3) upload your photos and make a cool profile. 4) your message board 5) forum 6) See your name on the leader board. There are also many more features available in the site, free to join.

DON'T DO IT!!! Its a traditional scam! Anybody who solicits you by telephone with a promise to make money, by you giving them money, Is going to rip you off!!
If you are in the US then there are guidelines as to what is legal or not regarding this type of thing.
First check with the friend he has claimed to have helped, get references before you EVER let him in your home.
Not only can they be trying to rip you off financially, there have been instances of people of this sort checking out your home, for other reasons. ie.. burglary.
If they are helping to plan your wedding they know your schedule when you'll be there, etc....
Check references first. Find out if he is a member of BBB, and call them. If he is a financial consultant he should be affiliated with a banking institution of some sort. Find out where. Call the local banks ask about this type of consultant. If they've ever even heard of such a thing etc...
But DO NOT proceed until you have verified all this info. It seriously sounds like a scam!

Did the finance guy give you the name of your "friend"? What does your "friend" say?
Sounds like a scam to me. Call the Better Business Bureau and the police to see if this "adviser" has a record of bad dealing.
And by the way, what is a Jack and Jill?

Where do you get off thinking other ppl are obligated to pay for YOUR wedding? You have a lot of nerve. If you can't afford it you don't need to get married. Go to the justice of peace and call it a day. Don't begin a marriage by living beyond your means. I could see if you were raising money for a house or car. Geeeeeeeeeesh. Yeah it's probably a scam for you short sighted materialistic dummies.

I have never heard of a jack and Jill, but if it has anything to do with hitting your friends and family up for money to help with wedding expenses--- It's just plain TACKY!! Only have a wedding that you can afford-- even if that means the justice of the peace. Weddings are so overrated--who cares about them!

If you have to pay him, what's the point of holding a jack and jill to make money? If you think it's legit meet him somewhere public for coffee or whatever, never in your own home till your sure. If you decide he's legit ask for references of previous clients.

sounds like a scam, but if hes been recommended by a friend, ask the friend what their encounter was with them. I personally, would not be happy if I thought my friends were giving out my details to companies/business people without my prior consent.

RUN!!!! This guy is after your $$$.
By the way, why aren't you having your parents help with the wedding???? Traditionally, the groom's parents pay for the wedding rehearsal dinner, groomsmen tuxes and preacher. The bride's parents pay for the church, wedding reception refreshments, wedding dresses (maids of honor and bride), flowers, etc.
