Well, IF you are preggers it sounds like it could be colostrum (comes before the actual breast milk) You can have this leaking anywhere from a few weeks before the baby is born, up to right before, or not have this leak at all before your start to breast feed.

If you are worried or not sure, ask your dr. :)

From the La Leche League website:
Your breasts produce colostrum beginning during pregnancy and continuing through the early days of breastfeeding. This special milk is yellow to orange in color and thick and sticky. It is low in fat, and high in carbohydrates, protein, and antibodies to help keep your baby healthy. Colostrum is extremely easy to digest, and is therefore the perfect first food for your baby. It is low in volume (measurable in teaspoons rather than ounces), but high in concentrated nutrition for the newborn. Colostrum has a laxative effect on the baby, helping him pass his early stools, which aids in the excretion of excess bilirubin and helps prevent jaundice.

When your baby is breastfed early and often, your breasts will begin producing mature milk around the third or fourth day after birth. Your milk will then increase in volume and will generally begin to appear thinner and whiter (more opaque) in color.

now and again breast discharge is familiar if you're ovulating, or in case you havn't been having a era very lengthy. Your hormones are dissatisfied for some reason. social gathering, male toddlers can now and again lactate for some days after delivery becasue of the intense ranges of female hormones of their body they were given from their mom. IF the launch is sparkling and oderless and is going away I wouln't be worried about it. in spite of the undeniable fact that, if your breast is gentle, swollen, the launch takes on a yellowish or greenish tinge in colour and begins emiting a foul oder, or if it purely would not go away, then i ought to go see an MD. finally, do not squeeze it, which will inspire new production.

It's called colostrum...think of it as the concentrated form of breastmilk. Kinda like orange juice concentrate......just add water and you got orange juice! When you are pregnant, your breasts start to produce colostrum before the third month of pregnancy! In no way does this mean that you are about to give birth....it just means you're pregnant!

Back in Nov when I thought I was pregnant my OB/GYN asked me if I had clear liquid leaking. You need to take a test. Sometimes, though it can be an indication of infection.

It depends. If you are not pregnant, it means your prolactin hormone level is too high and you should see a doctor because this can interfere with periods, trying to get pregnant, etc. If you are already pregnant, then this is normal. It is just your breasts getting ready to feed your baby.

If youre preg then its called colostrum which can come in as early as like 20wks, dont force it out though cause that can cause uterine contractions and might cause you to go into labor..nothing to worry about. If not preg, see a doc.

normal for first few days/even weeks after giving birth and sometimes even a little bit before. Go to baby section of any store and get nursing pads to put inside bra.

I am assuming that you're pregnant so it means that your body is getting ready to feed the baby even though he or she isn't here yet.
