My favorite state of mind is when I'm talking with someone ..... and the conversation is so deep... so focused, that you absolutely forget that the rest of the world exists. Just that one moment is all that there is. There are no issues in the world..... there are no other people in the world... There is no "time"... there is no "place." No schedule, no needs, no priorities, no deadlines. Everything is blocked out.......except for that one person and what they are saying. And for that moment......that is all that matters in the world.

How do I reach it? *shrugs* I guess when you really care and are passionate about something you can focus in a way that allows all else in the world to exit your mind..... even if it is just very briefly. But I love that feeling.... I love that state of mind..... when it is almost "Adam and Eve" like...... where you realize that nothing else in the world exists........but you two.

Watching the sun rise from a perch on a ledge on the side of a cliff in the Grand Canyon. Especially after watching the sunset and moonrise the day and night before like I did. I stayed there for almost two days. Nary a trace of people, just the canyon and the ravens. I still haven't topped that one.

My favorite state of mind is dreaming ... deep REM sleep. I have the best dreams ... they're even better than the movies!!!

I get there by cleaning up for beddy time (brush teeth, wash face, etc- etc- etc) ... praying, and then letting my natural sleep clock do the rest.

Sleeping...In your dreams you get to get away from the reality that haunts us and our fears you could basically be anything and anywhere in your dreams.
