ABSOLUTELY. Not everyone is having sex. If you want to wait - then wait! Don't be pressured into it. It's okay not to drink and do drugs either. Here's a reality check - most people DON'T do either!!! And a good GPA means scholarships and honor! You CAN do it! If you believe in yourself and your dreams, you'll be okay. Don't let sex, drugs, and drinking cloud you now. A little bit of fun now can seriously hurt your future - and your future isn't worth waisting. Good luck!!!

I think that unless you are the most boring intelligent person I have ever seen, you will not realistically meet all four of those standards. I guess 2 out of 4 is average.
Most people have tried drinking at some point before they graduate, and frankly, it's almost normal. You don't have to be a mindless teenager to make stupid choices, and everyone does. Drinking can be the least of your worries.
I am likely in the top 30% intelligence wise of the general population, and even for me it is difficult to get that high of a GPA. Group work, forgotten homework, difficult classes and evil teachers are all things you will have to put up with in high school. It is very difficult to get that high of a GPA throughout high school, although some years you may get a 4.0. Difficult classes could mean a b or c when an easier class would get you an a. You can easily choose to take the easiest classes and earn a high GPA, but easy classes will not look good to colleges.
If you live in suburbia, drugs are somewhat common, but few people end up crack addicts. That one should be easy enough to avoid, but maybe not. If you don't have friends like that, then you will have an easy enough time saying "no".
Finally, the sex question. This may depend on the guys you meet in high school, may depend how drunk you may get at parties. Some people mature fast enough to really want sex at a young age, and for them, its perfectly natural. Others may never be ready enough, or not reach the point where they love or trust anyone enough. I would never rush sex, but who knows who you may meet, and who knows how you will feel then.

Of course it's realistic! You sound like a smart, determined young woman with high self-esteem who makes good choices.
Just stick to your goals and don't be tempted into something you KNOW is bad for you.
If you don't drink or take drugs, chances are you will remain a virgin anyway - most young girls lose their virginity under the influence of some sort of substance.

why would it not be realistic to think that you can do just that. In this day and time in this country there is no reason that someone cant accomplish whatever it is that they want to do you just have to put your mind to it and keep your goals in sight . Dont let anything or anyone tell you differently or pressure you into anything. believe me the year after you graduate high school what they thought will be pointless and you will always have the pride and satisfication that you did it .. good luck to you.

Yes, if you focus on YOU, and take care of yourself by not doing drugs, practice abstinence, you will be very proud of yourself when you graduate high school. "Delayed Gratification" is good..work hard now so that you can enjoy your life later without any regrets....also I don't know if you are religious but pray for strength to get you through and accomplish your dreams. Good luck and I will pray for you too!

Remember to Pray to a higher power. Then establish and call on a good support system. Such as family members and your priest when you have temptations. Best of luck and I wish you well. Be strong.

Yes! Don't dwell on it. Just be yourself and follow the road you set for yourself not the road that everyone else is taking. Just tell people its not your thing.

well if you're already fond of drinks....that's one down.
Just remember to be true to yourself (and pick good friends, very important), and you'll be fine.
