I did the job you hate thing for a while, it's not worth the money to wake up every morning dreading the day. I choose the job you love.

I would rather have a job I love - I gave up a career I hated (teaching) and now enjoy what I am doing and who I work with.
I am much happier!

You should go to your local EDD office. They have councelors there that may help you find a job you would love and make a comfortable living at. Make sure you inquire about there workshops, you would be amazed at the resources you can tap into for free.

I would rather have the second choice. Unfortunately my situation
is more like the first. I can't complain about the money but sometimes I feel it just isn't worth the aggravation.
