I work in Corporate Finance, but I want to teach when I retire. What is better to take DBA or PhD in Finance?

My passion is valuation and financial modeling. What could be my thesis topic?

Phd is known more but both are considered legitimate doctorate degrees. take the DBA and focus research on portfolio management.
