In Viking mythology Loki was the son of a Norse God. (sorry, can't remember his name) both his father and mother were giants. He was known for his mischievous ways. When a Norse child misbehaved the adult would often say "Loki take you!". Loki also became blood brother to Odin. At times Loki could be a friend to man.
