The white will clash with the red and gold unless it is a warm white or a slight tint.
It also depends on if you mean metallic gold or an orange/yellow color.

For what purpose?
A wedding...yeah that's ok...just not too solid of a gold (soften it or use a more tanish shade, or maybe a maroonish red)
For a school mascot?
Sure again...Red is bold, Gold is classic, White is pure...all good things...
For any other purpose...it really depends on the shade and the object in question...
If you like it, that's all that matters...
Good Luck

It all depends. The best is in Nature! Like a scenic drawing, painting,etc.... e.g. A Cardinal, a golden sunset on the water and white clouds..... ETC....... ps maybe the red being not so prominent when there's a lot of gold in it...????

Red and Gold are good, but not white. They don't go well together.
Red and White are good
Gold and White are good
Red and Gold are good
But Red and Gold and White - I don't think so.

NO... if your designing something... dont use that combination... you'll just feel summer warmer... you can perhaps use colors which are cooler to the eyes... like blue or lighter blue, or perhaps green.. got it?
