I am worried sick about my older sister. Her name is Shelby. She is going to start her first year of college in September. I think she has been bitten by a vampire... I am choking back tears as I type this. What will become of her? I'll get to the point by first telling you what happened. Three nights ago, on a lazy Sunday night, my sister was out with her "boyfriend". I decided to sneak in her room to read her greedily-stashed-under-the-bed Cosmo and Vogue magazines. As I was sitting cross-legged on her bedroom floor, hastily flipping through the glossy pages of Vogue, I heard a car pull up in the driveway. It was my sister and her boyfriend. In a frenzied panic, I stacked all her magazines back into a pile and pushed it back under the bed. By that time, they were already inside the house at the bottom of the stairs. If I left her room, they would see me. I couldn't let that happen. I decided to hide in her closet...

I heard my sister and her boyfriend approach the bedroom door, giggling and laughing. I could see them through a gap in the closet door where the two wooden panels met. The guy was on top of my sister. What was he doing? I saw them undress. My sister did not do anything to resist him; perhaps she was under a vampiric spell? The guy was now at my sister's neck. My fists clenched. I clearly saw the guy suck at her neck. My sister seemed to be enjoying this, unaware that this vampire was draining her of blood! I couldn't take it anymore. I had to intervene. I pushed open the closet door with love-for-my-sister rage and pounced on the bed with save-my-sister fury. I clobbered the guy with my fists and scratched at his eyes. He staggered out of the bed, stood up, and said "Your sister's f**king crazy!"...

...He grabbed his clothes and scurried away with unholy speed. I laid on the bed, trying to comprehend what had happened. Did I save my sister? My sister gave me a firm punch on my stomach and said "You stupid dork! Why'd you do that! I told you to STAY out of my room!". I noticed a red rash on her neck. It was on the exact same spot the vampire had tried to bite. My eyes filled with dread. Was she infected? Was she going to become one of them? My sister pushed me out of her room and slammed the door.

Even if she was not infected by the vampire, I have no doubt in my mind that she is under his spell. She seems... infatuated with him. Almost like she "wanted" to be bitten. Three nights have past since she was attacked. She is now in the shower. I have taken her cell phone and tediously researched her past text messages and tracked down the vampire's name and address. I prepared a makeshift cross using two pencils taped together and carved myself a wooden stake. As I type the last words in this entry, I am about to embark on a quest to save my sister's soul. I shall free her of the vampire's touch. If I am not successful, please answer with strategies and tips on vampire slaying. I thank you for your time.

May I suggest you find a fan-fic site? There must be something like that available.....

For real vampire problems....
Your sister won't be in danger from "becoming" a vampire unless she is completely drained of blood, or is bitten (not just hickied) three times. She must also take some blood from her "sponsor".

You should innoculate her with garlic. Eat lots of Italian food, heavy on the bread!

Buy her some silver jewelry. Explain the gift as an "apology" for invading her privacy.

Forget the crosses, except as a test for vampirism. The crucifix won't work as a ward if you have no faith in the one that was crucified on it. It is a reminder to the vamps that their ressurection is false, hence their fright.

Otherwise, have fun on the fan-fic site!

Real vampires are non-material beings that feed on the life-force of the living. Material beings who drink blood are people playing at being like Bella Lagossi or something. These people can be dangerous freaks and might even experiment with magick. I don't know what to tell you, except your sister might be drawn into the romance and mystery of this guy.
A side note: You have good writing skills. You knew what you wanted to communicate and put in down in a logical, sequential, and compelling way.

Simple, just ask yourself, "What Would Buffy Do?"

Your only hope is to somehow talk your sis into going through the trials of Hell just like Spike did. And since there are only 2 vampires with souls, your chances are not that great.

I'd suggest caging her somehow in a jail cell until you find more options. She can live off of pigs blood forever so start her on a strict diet of that. If she never tastes a human and is satisfied by the pigs blood, she may be ok.

its called a hickey, if your sister was really bitten by a vampire she wouldv'e screamed in holy terror and pain. Her boyfriend was just being horny. It is obvious you are under aged here, 'cause only a pre-adolescent would stay in the room to read magazines instead of forward thinking to getting them to the safety of your own room. If this happens again jump out and scream like a maniac, watch what happens.

It is ridiculous to believe that a human (or used to be human) must drink blood to sustain life. The "vampires" today are simply people with uncatorigized sexual fetishes and fantasies. I think it is all a sexual preference thing. Some people like being dominated, which can including biting, choking, beating, etc. But to believe that a "real" vampire exists is preposterous!!

your sister has a hickey on her neck people also call it a love bite your sister is in love and it sounds like your wrongif you suck on your arm youll see it gets red its a bloodclot because all the blood surfaced to the area it a normal thin people in relationships do. if he bite her in the sense she was bleeding than thats another story i believe in the unknown but i honestly dont believe in vampires but i have read alot about them .
if you and your sister are baptized theres not need to worry because your blood will kill them because they wouldnt have a soul and yours is protected by the holy spirit,if you are real serious go to your local church and get a botttle of holy water ask hinm if he wants some water and give it to him i also believe vampires dont have a reflection real or not

Get a.s.a.p. some garlic, lots of holy water and a gun with silver bullets (oh no, I am sorry that's just for werewolves). Forget the silver bullets, an old fashioned stake will do the trick!

Alright, I'm not sure how old you are, but I'll say this your sister might simply have the hots for a goth dude and you interupted them when they were getting hot and heavy. Really good description, though.
When in doubt, watch "Buffy" and call Joss Whedon.

pure garlic juice in the face. take a handful of garlic that is minced and put it on him. Holy water, ect. To finish off a vamp, you first put a wooden spike in his heart, the behead the undead creature. Next burn the head an d body seperatly, not allowing the ahes to touch.

I am too tired for a witty comeback and continuation of your story. I just wanted to answer because I wanted to tell you that you have incredible writing skills. Don't listen to anyone. I was very entertained and really would have enjoyed seeing the story added to. Which I believe was your intention. Put your skills to use and PUBLISH!
