Take a 300-350 page book and save it on word. How big a file would that be? I am attempting to write a book and am trying to keep it within a certain range and would just like to know how many Kb to look for about 300 pages?

Or I guess the question could be how many Kb is on written page?

Is one page in Word, default settings, equal to 1 book page?

Just a hint about Word - if you have trouble opening the whole book. Maybe it take 10-15 minutes.....try creating separate documents for each chapter & create amaster document with dynamic links to each chapter.

That way you can access an individual chapter much more quickly. I have created 50Mb+ technical documents that way. Updating separate documents & then using dynamic links is MUCH quicker/easier.

I have one! It's 437 pages double-spaced, and it's 692KB in file size. Hope this helps!
