Has anyone ever attended or attends Ryerson University in Toronto?
Is it good? Expensive? What is the housing like? Tell me about it.

I can't speak from direct experience, but I've talked to people who went there and they got an okay education. You will not be surrounded by the cream of the crop, but for some disciplines where most of your study is self study this will not matter. If you plan to live and work in TO then Ryerson is probably an OK place to get your degree.

If you're interested in engineering I've heard that some of their lab equipment is outdated.

Best advice is to go visit the campus and get a feel for it.
