well all you should have to do is put the CD in the computer and load the drivers and software that came with the printer then hook it to your computer via USB cable or LPT port (not sure they make these anymore) and your computer should auto see it and pick the right drivers then make sure it has paper and ink and you should be set to print away . the first time you use it it should do like a test / alignment page if it doesn't do it when you put the ink in or it may not need it some are automatic now

Install software with printer. Connect printer to computer with either an USB cable or a parallel port cable per instructions. Turn on printer and boot up computer. Windows will detect new hardware, and go with it. That is simple.
