For Supercross, should the AMA mandate that only 250 & 125 two strokes be raced and not four strokes? For motocross both four strokes and two strokes can be raced per the riders choice?

i think that the ama should alow both to race but let the two strokes go up in displacement to be able to compete with the four strokes ran at the pro levels. and jay rod..... im not a stupid level two but this flames for you pal... if you have watched ne of the current races you would see and hear that their are NO MORE TWO STROKES in any of the races this mx series and for a better part of last years sx were i think their were only 3 or 4 two strokes total in both classes... as it stands right now in the pro level two strokes are dead

The future is 4 stroke. As there are no 2 stroke street machines over 50cc anymore, eventually the manufactures will lose interest in building and supporting a few 2 strokes for motorsports. So if the AMA is going to mandate anything it will be 4 strokes, but it's only a matter of time before the 2 strokes are museum pieces.

What the AMA should do is go take a long walk off a short pier. The self righteous morons of the ama are the worst thing to happen to motorcycles. Why can't the aprilia v-twin get it's one year test race series??
