I am so Proud to see all the young and older gay men and women that have pride in what they are and how far they have come . I am a gay man in my 40's and have been fighting for gay rights for a long time , it is a daily struggle and we all have a share in it . Its good to know that so many young gay men and women will continue the fight after all of us older gay men and women are gone . Yes I am Proud and I take pride in all the accomplishments we have made over the years and of all the gay men and women who have stood up and said we will be heard and will not go quietly back in the closet ! Continue the fight and never let anyone silence you .

Pride is the daily struggle to maintain our self-esteem, after constant assaults from others, that try to make us feel like we are nothing. False pride is overcompensating
for these bad feelings. I hope you have true pride my friend.

I do now. I attended my first Pride Day this year and it was awesome. I am so proud to be who I am now. Before I used to not be but it is great to know that the love and support is out there and that you can be proud to be true to yourself.

GOT PRIDE? YES, I DO!!!!!!.........went to my first Pride Fest in St. Louis back in June. I was broke as a joke and my aunt and uncle, Mom and Dad, sisters, and niece financed the trip.....now that's pride if you ask me!....Ain't life grand? !!!!!!!
