I have a problem with wasps on my patio. I bought a glass catcher, one where they fly in but can not get out. I am not sure what liquid to put in. Any ideas.

buy a no name 2 litre of rootbeer drink or pour half into another two litre
Cut the funnel part of the two litres off and invert them into the bottom part of the bottle.
The wasps fly in and drown but the root beer seems to attract them quickly
