How do you stop the belt from squeeling from time to time, particularly in second?

-Make sure the belt tension is adjusted correctly and that the wheel is perfictly aligned.
-Check the belt for cracks or splits & teeth for wear. What the hell, your bikes old enough, change the belt before it gets discontinued and keep the old one for a spare.
-Check the pully teeth and the side that the belt rubs on. Look for any wear marks. They'll tell you if the wheel has been misaligned or if the pulley has any dents.

wax it adjust it
belt wax i use it on lawnmower belts its a block of wax when the belts are moving i put it on the belt as it goes around furniture wax like pledge might work on your bike belt
