I heard some time ago that classical music can increase the milk production of cows.
I did a quick web search and found:

Yes they do! My cat is picky when it comes to music/sounds though. She likes reggae, holiday music and the soundscapes (rain, waterfall, summer night sounds). She doesn't like any type of alternative and isn't particularly fond of show tunes or disco HAHAHAHA.
I actually have comcast digital cable and leave music on for her during the day when I'm not here. If it's music she likes, the house isn't torn up when I come home LOL.

My goats sure do. They seem to prefer classical or easy country (which I abhor, but I humor them), and they seem to give more milk in the morning when either one is played softly. They HATE Jimmi Hendrix and Smashing Pumpkins, and refuse to get on the stanchion for milking if I play hard rock or heavy metal.

Yes, my cat loves it when I sing to music and she runs over to me and starts purring and being all lovey-dovey...She definitely likes music! and her favorite is Tori Amos...LOL

i had a cat once that only liked broadway musicals and country music. she also loved watching star trek.
