I've played fantasy football for seveal years now, but I've never been in one with a farm league. But as a general rule, all players on waivers are available to first team that selects them, so unless your commisioner will compensate you with a player of equal value, I would refuse to drop him.

Farm League? Ok.....

In any event, if the Commish did set this up and explain it to everyone in advance, you should just suck it up and do what he asks. Just because the system you're on lets you do this, doesn't give you the right to do it if there's been some kind of agreement made before the league started in regards to this "farm league".

So really, if this is what was laid out and you disregarded it, that really makes you rather cheeky for doing it anyway. Give the guy a break. But if he is making up things as he goes, then you should take it up before the league.

If this farm league doesn't have actual settings built into the system that put players on a specific team, it will be hard to "police" the adding and dropping of said players.

It simply won't work over the course of the fantasy football season and in my opinion, will kill the fun in the league. I would hate to have to refer to a list of players who are on imaginary farm teams before I add a player who I clearly want on my team.

With that said, if everyone else in the league agrees to this farm team setup, then you should drop him. Don't be the one to ruin it for everyone else.

If you want a good keeper for your fantasy football league go with Jens Lehnmann, Shay Given, Jaaskelainen, or Edwin Van Der Sar.

If you knew about the Farm system and rules ahead of time and how it worked, then YES you should drop him becuase you are in violation of the rules.

If this is something new that the Commish is bringing up after the draft...then NO. Don't drop him.

It would be a good idea to keep him and if your ff league is upset with you then just enter another one. Plain and simple.
