You are a social worker. You have been asked to investigate a family to see whether the children should be removed from the home. To avoid prejudicing your decision you were not told exactly why you are investingating. You knock on the door; it opens, the first thing you see is enough to convince you- you are definently reccomending these children be removed. What you saw was not the children themselves; what was it?
