As a nurse....absolutely NOTHING is wrong with you...First of all....your body is readapting to your hormonal changes once you're off the pill.. And did you know that many women who conceive the first time, end up losing the baby, if not more than once? Don't give up.....if this continues though...go see your doctor. And I would suggest that going on and off the pill alot is really not good for you. It's really hard on your system and can interfere with conception.

I started trying to conceive a couple of months after going off the pill and I miscarried, too. It takes many people a lot of time to get their horomones naturally regulated. When your body is used to the pill it's used to the synthetic horomones and when those are suddenly taken away it often throws your body out of whack. That could be causing your misses. I would consult your ob. After my miscarriage I did a lot of follow up to make sure it was just my body adjusting to being off the pill. I had my thyroid tested along with all of my levels of horomones. Sure enough, my body was simply not producing enough to support the fertilized egg.
Once you meet with your dr., I would stay off the pill and use condoms as a back up for at least a couple of months. Let your body readjust itself naturally and have a couple of normal periods. Maybe use an ovulation predictor to see if you are ovulating normally. Good luck....this is so sad and so common in first pregnancies and I know it is an aweful experience. But you will have a baby, don't worry.

There are a multitude of reasons for why you are unable to carry to term.
1. You could be allergic to the sperm - don't laugh I have a friend who was and she was never able to carry a baby to term.
2. When there is a problem in the development of the baby they spontaneously abort. It has nothing to do with you.
3. There could be something else going on, the only thing you can do is request a referral to a specialist who can help you. I have one friend who has lost 3 babies because they were all tubal pregnancies.

i had a miscarriage may 20Th 2006. and i have already had one healthy baby. and went to full term. i asked my doctor why this happens and i was told that it is really common for a women to have 3 in a row. after that then they think it is a problem. with your self or your partner. they also said that it could happen because the egg was no good or the sperm. or the baby was going to have major problems. i dint know if this help at all but just don't give up.. i am now 8 weeks and so far so good.

Going on and off the pill to increase your chances of conceiving - is actually harming your chances. Your body is going through hormonal swings, and with the pill - your babies can't take it.
Go off the pill, if you wish to have a baby, and don't go back on it. Consult your doctor. You may be referred to a fertility specialist.

You need to consult your ob/gyn, there are options. And they can discover what could be the problem and it could be helped. Until then, you may never know what the problem is
