MONEY! WILL BE A MAJOR ISSUE! IT'S MAJOR MONEY!
The entire national debt obligation includeing all the entitlements is $125 - 150 TRILLION! as of 2005. Bushit has asked for another $72 BILLION for Iraq. We all know he is spending even more this year than last year. Our 06 debt could be $155 TRILLION! Do the math people we have 300,000,000 people.
Bushit is running America broke ! Where is that loud cry from our elected officials about this wasted money on such a vast scale ? Where is the media screaming about this abuse of power? Why is such an overwhelming amount of wasted money not making the citizens storm DC ?
The smoke and mirrors propaganda has us all preoccupied with the war, the price of gas, the price energy and everything else the gov can hide almost anything ! This beyond any level of acceptable behavior for any gov.
HOW LONG WILL WE STAND BACK AND ALLOW OUR FUTURE TO BE BANKRUPTED?
I WOULD SAY WE WERE PREOCCUPIED!
DO THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE? YA RIGHT!
VOTE THEM OUT!
AND HURRY BEFORE WE ARE BROKE !

Issues are red herrings, as a friend says. People should care about issues, but they don't. Everybody hates negative campaigning, but it works. So use lots of money to smear the opposition, say he hates America and supports the terrorists. If he is a war hero like John Kerry, hire some drunks to tell horrible lies against him like the Swiftboat Veterans did against Kerry. And hire people to go around to cars parked near churches on Sundays and leave literature saying your opponent wants to ban the Bible. None of it has to be true. It works, the voters eat it up like flies on sheet.

Nationally, issues. Locally, money.
When did the richer candidate last win the Presidency?
2004, Kerry was far richer than Bush. Kerry lost.
2000, Gore was richer than Bush. Gore lost.
1996, Dole was richer than Clinton. Dole lost.
1992, Perot was richer than Clinton and Bush combined. Perot lost.

Issues can be manipulated. Money always works.
Now, isn't that a sad commentary on our country?

You can have all the issues in the world - but if you don't have the money, you have nothing.
