My sister-in-law is having excruciating back pain. She is due on September 21st. She has not felt the baby move @ all today.

it would freak me out too when i didnt feel my baby move for awhile too but shell probably feel it move tommorrow or tonight. as for the back pain tell her to sit on a chair with a pillow under the small of her back that always helped me

The baby could be stressed about something, maybe it senses the moms uncomfortness... anyway, your sister needs to see her obgyn to get some pain medicaion and to have the baby checked out. the baby should be moving regardless. the pain will not go away any time soon. i had this problem with my second child. it just happens to some.

Back pain is common during pregnancies. The most important thing for her to do is NOT to take medication. Even if it is tylenol it could kill the baby. No medication at all. The best thing you can do is make her as comfortable as possible and maybe get a thermapad (heating pad) for her. Believe me it works wonders.

Back pain is usual for pregnancy and movement of the baby increases and decreases check with your primary care physician or if urgent go to the er for an ultrasound definitely if u are spotting

back pain is very common, and she will likely have all her labor in her back, if the baby has stopped moving it either is resting or its going to come early, it doesnt hurt to call the doctor.
