or they're wannabes i don't understand when ever i try to be friends with people they turn out to be fake or they don't call me or hang out with me and im the one usually calling and asking to hang out... why don't people give me the time of day... sometimes i wish i had a bestfriend but i don't is it because im the problem?

Everybody lies. It's the fact the lying about one's personality to cover their personal inadequacies is socailly acceptable. Eventually those people will have to deal with those things later. It's called a midlife crisis. Fortunately for you, you don't have to live like that and can laugh at the people who eventually realize they weren't what they said they were

you dont have to be out there trying to find new friends...friends are a great thing and it5´s ok not to have a lot. You can have 3 or 4 best best freinds and that´s it...the other are just people to hung out
Try to go to different places that you like as the gym or to spanish lessons or to the mall...i met my best friend in a shoe shop and other on college and even for an ex boyfriend

people mostly dont get close to others so quick especially if the friends you know in recent. give some time to get better relationship. or you have still not met the right friends this time. until then, you'll have to search and keep searching and searching till you find one.

cuz they're insecure & not satisfied with their true selves. hm, about your social life...not sure about that one. but just try to assert even more, i guess, or try to get to know their interests & hobbies before getting too close to them. try to figure out their personality before accepting them or whatever. i dont think you're the problem here, but maybe you're demonstrating your desperation a lil too obviously, so tone down, i guess

All you have to do is look at TV, the movies, the way people dress, lack of morals, who we idolize....on and on. Family values have gone down the drain!

becuz people have idols people who they look up to and want to be just like them, becuz it makes them confident about themselves and who they are trying to be, it gives them a sense of "proudness" i guess is the best way to put it, they know they can get by with it, and its better to be yourself no matter what anybody else thinks. its just better to be you, and have people like you for who you are and honestly it makes you a more better person on the inside and out

I think people are fake because the are telling us what they think we want to hear, so we like them more. I'd rather just here the truth, I'm sick of bullshit.

Juist keep trying, and be yourself. It helps if you have a hobby. Eventually you'll meet someone else who has the same hobby and you can work on your hobby together.
