Something that has to do with the intended major? Besides a bank teller.
Thanks.

I'm the Secretary/Treasurer of our Firm and in charge of all Accounting - I'd look to hire a Part-Time Assistant Bookkeeper.

That would 'get your feet wet' to see if that's really what you'd like to do in life and also provides workload assistance for the Firm at a reasonable price. And if you're good at what you do ('cause not all of us are good at what we 'like'), then the employer may be willing to pay for tuition for courses geared towards your major, etc.

Assistant Bookkeeper! Yep, that's where I'd start.

You could try to get a job in accounts payable, or accounts receivable. I would not just consider it a job, inform the company that you are looking for an internship in the field you are majoring in. That may yield you better results.

I hope this helps you. AP/AR or something in finance could work also. Good luck!

Plus because it has already been mentioned, working at a $7 to $8 an hour will become a brilliant motivator to stay in college and graduate, so as that sooner or later extremely you would be making $20 an hour and up. some persons had no decision however while it got here to artwork, like me hehe, because of the fact I had to artwork finished-time so as to help out my mom, all on an identical time as going to college finished-time.

Go to an employment agency. My accounting professor where I go to school happens to own one and he places a lot of the students in jobs. I think that will be your best bet! Have grades/transcripts on hand when you go for the interview. Good Luck!
