They can be one or the other, or sometimes, both at once! It's usually "your" parents that can 'curse' you, when they have completely had it with you, and tell you, "I hope some day, that when you grow up, you'll have children that will treat you, like you treat me!" (*or, put you through, what you put me through) You get the idea? It is a curse! The other part of the curse, is when you find yourself, saying it to your children!!!

if god hadnt given me my oldest, i would never have gotten off the drugs.
my son came along to help me let go of the oldest.
the last one came to show my oldest that she didnt want a baby at the age of 12 and to calm things down
