Normally, you can go straight to Ph.D. from B.A. in most places. It's a little known fact. However, if you're coming straight from undergrad, you better have excellent grades, excellent test scores, and anything else that makes you stand out.

There a bunch of PhD programs across the country for BA holders. Some of these accelerated programs are very demanding but might offer you teaching assistanships, full grants, stipends, scholarships,or other ways to help you out. There are books you can find with PhD programs and the schools that offer them (i.e. The Princeton Review and Barrons).

i've got self assurance you need to examine into getting your CBEST standards out of ways. With which you would be able to teach on the consumer-friendly point, or proceed onto getting your grasp's or PhD. i might relatively attempt to get a replace coaching activity or a minimum of discover artwork interior the practise field in case you already are not employed in one yet. That way, you could discover if practise is relatively for you or no remember in case you appreciate the student/instructor existence after spending maximum of your existence in college besides. in case you do come to a decision to circulate on and get your grasp's or PhD, I propose you compromise on in case you will incredibly be interior the administration facet of practise or part of the college. that should respond to your question as to what to significant in previous your undergraduate degree. good success!

Don't you have to earn your masters degree first? I think that's sort of a given.....you can earn a PhD in many different educational fields (curriculum, special education, specific subjects, etc.) in any major university. Just check online websites for graduate level programs to see qualifications and admissions information.
