belly botton, its more easily infected and will damage your stomache (if infected i mean).

Ok take it from me as I have been through both. I have both ears pierced at the top and my belly button also. I have to say that the cartilidge was the worse. It takes quite a while to get over the soreness there. The belly button hurt initally, but once the ring was in and all was done and cleaned up the pain was already gone. Plus you dont get sore there like you do when you pierce other places. Just be sure to keep it clean. It gets infected easily. They will instruct you on how to do this. I think you can do it! Go on and go for it! You'll be glad that you did! And think of all the fun you'll have, once it's healed, choosing different jewlery to wear!

The only pain from belly button is the initial pain of the clamp AND if it gets infected which alot of them do.My son has 16 holes in his cartilidge which he did himself,says it didn't hurt or get infected.In his other ear he only has 2 holes that have big spacers in them.Also didn't hurt.

Getting your cartilage pierced hurts worse. Getting your belly button pierced doesn't really hurt at all; it feels like a pinch.

Cartilage, the belly button doesn't hurt bad at all. The clamp hurts the worst, not the needle. Just make sure you put the antibiotical ointment on it, because it tends to get infected really easily.

i have also had my cartilage pierced which i thort hurt a little. i have also had my bellybutton pierced this did hurt a little but whereas the ear hurt afterwards the belly button only stung fir a couple of seconda as it was being done

belly button is worse first they grab a big part of fat then they just stick the needle through it but if you really want it it will be worth the pain!

A cartilidge pearcing hurts more. A Naval pearcing hurts but not enough to stop you from doing it. You got to suck it up kiddo!!

honestly if u can handle getting ur cartlidge pierced which is a bone then u should be able to handle getting ur belly button pierced cus ur belly is skin and cartlidge like ii said is bone.

Cartilage by far. I have had my ears ( lobes) pierced a couple of times and had my ear (cartilage) pierced. It took a month for it to heal. When you lay on that side for that first month it will wake you out of a dead sleep.

i got my belly pierced years ago. It does hurt but i doubt it feels as bad as cartlidge. good luck
