If he' cheating on his wife then surely its shows the only importance in the marriage is himself.
He has no real respect for his wife, otherwise he wouldn't cheat on her, to love someone you need to respect that person, so his wife isn't his own competition on who he loves the most.
The person he is seeing behind his wife's back, sorry but i think he see's her as a quick hump when he wants a bit! Usually the other woman is just used for sex, so in the man eyes she's a tramp, why would he love someone like that? There you go, thats the other bit of competition out of the way, making himself the winner!

If he doesn't leave his wife for the other woman then he loves his wife. Chances are the other woman is giving him something his wife won't. Maybe his wife hates sex, or won't try new things. To some men sex is the only way that they can relive stress. And if his wife won't help him out some times he looks some where Else. But he still loves his wife.

Perhaps he doesn't have a clear understanding of what true love is...but if I had to give a straight answer I would dare to say he loves his wife...because sex can be viewed differently by men and women...men it's a physical thing...women it's an emotional thing...therefore a man can cheat on his wife and swear that he loves her and that the affair didn't mean anything unless they begin to develop an emotional relationship with the other woman I guess it depends on what type of an affair it is sexual or emotional attachment

Sorry Kathleen and 2deep but who are you kidding making excuses like how you're sure he still loves his wife? I hope your other halves don't go tracking down your answers here as you're gifting them excuses. WAKE UP! The guy loves his own d**k and not much else. With love comes respect and if you cheat you don't respect those you're cheating on or with, nor can you have much self-respect so the old adage about thinking with his appendage has won out.

honey cheating is just cheating. the person with whom u are cheating is just a one time excitement fling.Sooner or later the man will realise how good wife is and come back. if not then that man is seriously investing all his time in a cheating relationship and leaving the solid relationship with a wife.not worth it.
