Im a Republican and all of my liberal friends keep telling me that Hillary Clinton should run for president. When I ask the simple question why, they always somehow end up bashing the Republican Party, saying that democrats in office can do a far better job on all levels. But I want to know how she, and other possible nominees are planning on "doing a better job."

LMAO. I don't agree that Hillary can do a better job, not because she is a woman, but because she is two faced.

She claims to stand up for Democratic Values, but only does so when it works out for her. If she feels that the right wing will paint her as being "too liberal" and "weak", then she strays from her so-called beliefs and votes in favor of the "right's" position.

I've seen too many examples of her willingness to compromise democratic principles to ever trust her running for President. I feel that her quest for more power has blinded her.

To answer your question about a Democratic Nominee that I would proudly support:

They would do a number of things better that include:

1) Supporting a REAL increase in the minimum wage.

2) Supporting a real solution to ensuring that every American has healthcare coverage.

3) Abiding by Constitutional and International laws when confronting our neighbors, by not sending our brave volunteer military into numerous conquests to satisfy a personal thirst for bloodshed and empire, by using war as a last resort while allowing diplomacy to take place first.

4) Fixing our Middle Class by closing the numerous loop holes in our trade agreements that permit our trade partners to continue unethical and despicable practices and that allow companies to leave this country in favor of those same Third World Countries.

5) Pressing our Trade Partners to improve their labor standards, effectively decreasing the amount of immigrants that come to our country illegally over a period of time. Point to be made; if they have better working conditions and pay in their home country, then there will be less determination to move to America.

6) Stopping the free give-away of American jobs to insourcing by leveling the playing field. This can be done by forcing companies to pay and treat all workers the same no matter if they are American or "guests".

7) Returning to a credible policy of respecting our environment, by forcing companies to obey the environmental laws and working with our allies to prevent global warming.

8) Giving scientists what they need to research possible solutions for our numerous problems.

9) A real plan to get the job done in Iraq and Afghanistan starting with a promise to the people of those countries that there is NO PLAN to establish permanent military bases in their countries.

10) Funding education the way that it should be, instead of ignoring the obvious problems at hand.

11) Paying down the National Debt, the Budget Deficit and Trade Deficit.

12) Protecting the numerous entitlement programs that help our poor and elderly. Pay as you go has proven successful for decades, no reason why it shouldn't in the future.

All these and more have been discussed for a long time on my xanga site.

I can say why she shouldn't.

Gold Star Mothers is an organization made up of women whose sons were killed in military combat during service in the
United States armed forces.

Recently a delegation of New York State Gold Star Mothers made a trip to Washington, DC, to discuss various concerns
with their elected representatives.

According to published reports, there was only one politician who refused to meet with these ladies.

Can you guess which politician that might be?

Was it New York Senator Charles Schumer? Nope, he met with them.

Try again.

Do you know anyone serving in the Senate who has never showed anything but contempt for our military?

Do you happen to know the name of any politician in Washington who's husband once wrote of his loathing for the military? Now you're getting warm! You got it!

None other than the Queen herself, Hillary Rotten Clinton. She refused repeated requests to meet with the Gold Star Mothers.

Now, please don't tell me you're surprised. ! This woman wants to be President of the United States--- and there is a huge percentage of Voters who are eager to help her achieve that goal.

May you sleep in peace always...and please....hug or thank a Veteran for that privilege.

Think about this one !!!

Don't forget, our girl, Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York Senator, now comes under this fancy congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan.

It's common knowledge that, in order for her to establish NYS residency, they purchased a million+ dollar house in upscale
Chappaqua,NY.

Makes sense.

Now, they are entitled to Secret Service protection for life.

Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting. The mortgage payments hover at about $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residency
had to be built within the acreage in order to ! house the Secret Service agents..

The Clinton's now charge the Secret Service $10,000 monthly rent for the use of said Secret Service residence and that rent is just about equal to their mortgage payment, .meaning that
we, the tax payers, are paying the Clinton's mortgage, their
transportation, their safety and security, their 12 man staff, and it's all perfectly legal.

She won't run for this reason...
And if she does....

http://www.davidlimbaugh.com/mt/archives/2006/07/new_column_hill_2.html

She can't appeal to the "moveon.org" people that are now the driving force of the party.

Furthermore, Democrats have no agenda or solutions. They say well we'll do this and that. Ok thats great but HOW? And they have no answer.
