I've used Meguiar's Plastx with great success on headlights. I'm assuming you mean the kind with the plastic lenses. It also worked very well on the face shield of my motorcycle helmet. It's made specifically for polishing clear plastics. You can get it at most auto parts stores for about $5.00.

There is actually a kit for this at the auto parts store or you can use auto polishing compound.

no they fog from the inside from moisture you can not clean them you should replace them because when this starts they wont last much longer if you clean them you are going to need to replace them anyway because it will cause them to blow
