Are you sure it said 5 micrograms?

If it really was micrograms, that would mean a wasp had a mass of 0.000005g, or to put it another way, you would need 200,000 wasps to get a weight of 1 gram!

the average mass of a wasp is probably more like a quarter to a half a gram or 250,000-500,000 ug.
