this depends on what aspect of "sweet jane" you are looking for similiarities. there are many rolling stones songs that are similar. a few david bowie songs as well, such as "ziggy stardust," but it only has a few qualities that are similar. to find one that is really alike is hard because velvet underground's music is very different.

Who Loves the Sun by V. Underground. Phish covered it to. LISTEN TO PHISH !!! They do a lot of velvet underground covers, and there music is similair.
