Why does my Battlefield 2 VoIP keeps getting disabled?

My Battlefield 2 VoIP (Voice Over IP) was working when I first got it... but in the middle of nowhere it just stopped working. I cannot transmit or receive any audio for VoIP. I checked my Audio in Options, my VoIP was disabled and both Transmit & Receive was set to 0%. I changed the settings and clicked "Apply," but as soon as I change the screen (i.e. get out of the menu), they reset to disabled and 0%. Can someone help me with this? Thanks, in advance.

All that I can guess is that you are joining more servers that won't allow VOIP.
I don't have VOIP though, so I can't really help.
