Unsecure enough for you to log on without needing a username or password. Probably doesn't provide a masked IP or Subnet. Not that unsecured if you have a decent firewall and up-to-date virus software.

VERY...with no security at all, your network is open to anyone within a 300 to 500 ft radius with a WiFi card...they can send viruses and hacks to your network quite easily. I would suggest that if you are using a WiFi network that you need to use some form of security like WEP at 128bits, and also a non-broadcasted ssid, and decline all connections only allowing the MAC address of the computers you know are safe.

Its highly unsecured. Everybody whos got a wirelss card withing you range can pick up your wirelss connection !!!!

the only harm is other could share and use your wireless connection which might slow down your speed.. that's all i guess
