Well, we needed the Scopes trial in 1920 to circumvent
the irrationality of THAT period. Maybe now we need to
put Einstein and Newton and Galileo on trial to prove
gravity is real (no, they did try Galileo way back when).
Those who fail to learn from the errors of history are
condemned to repeat them.

It's not so much being against the teaching evolution, as being more for teaching of religion in a science curriculum.

actually here is a very good article from the LA times with some of the latest discoveries. And while we know alot about gravity, we dont know everything - but smart people are working on it.
