I'd say it's infatuation, real love takes time to grow. Two people need to get to know each other and develop emotional intimacy in order to experience a meaningful and deeper relationship. However, love at first sight is basically based on high expectations and idealism more than romance, friendship or respect.

I believe is just lust, love is deep and can't be felt by just seen a person. If you read or watch stories where people fall in love at first sight most of them there is good looks involved.

No, it's just a phrase. If someone is easy on the eyes, sometimes it's just a thin disguise. What I'm trying to say here is don't let someone's looks take you somewhere too quickly. There are some really wonderful people who get passed up because they don't measure up to what we perceive as "good looking". Look into the heart and the rest is a piece of cake.

Does not one often create the other? Love does not expect continuity, however, the emotion shared has the choice to do so...and should lust not be a grand reflection of love? Love of self, love of sex, love of being in intimate contact with another...

it's only lust. love is a combination of friendship and romance, including personality, and in many cases looks too. you can't love someone at first sight if you haven't yet had the chance to get to know them.

I think that lust at first sight exists....or really really like at first sight. I've never experienced love at first sight, that doesn't mean it exists. As I see it, love is something that takes time to develop...

I used to believe in it, with my now ex husband. But it was a weird obsession that lasted 24 yrs.
It wasn't even lust, because my ex, Dennis Copeland from Fox Lake, WI, has a small penis and a premature ejaculation problem, and sex with him was over before I was warmed up.
So NO, it does not exist.

It's lust at first, but it can develop into true love. Sometimes we know what we want physically by just seeing it.

no, love at first sight does not exsist...the emotion that many people tend to feel at first sight is lust, because you can lust for someone that you don't know but you cannot love them...
