Lowe's Home Improvement when I was in college... they make you take these tests so thatyou are knowledgable about things, like lawn and garden, but gave you the answers as you took the test (pencil-whipping, they called it) so you never actually learn anything, then they blame you for not qualifying on stuff like the forklift, when that same boss is the one who was supposed to train you on it. Can you tell I still resent it. Hell, when they fired me (for complaining about management's hiring practices -- they'd hire too many people, hours would get cut because there were too many people, and then people would quite and they'd be short of people and hire too many again, a viscious cycle) the associate manager actually skipped along beside me as he escorted me out of the building. I sh it you not! I think he was probably three sheets to the wind at the time... he was known for going bar-hopping everynight and drinking like a fish. I hated that pr ick.
