Hello!
Going to Las Vegas for my honeymoon in a week, but I live in Oregon, so Reno is a lot closer, my fiance and I are thinking about driving to Reno one of these weekends.
Anyone have any feedback about Reno? I have to admit, we thrive on touristy, flashy stuff. We also love to swim, so hotels/resorts with big fancy pools are a definite plus.

You say you want flashy w/ pool, well then I would definitely recommend the Peppermill. They have a sweet outdoor pool with a big rock mountain with fake animals - The Peppermill is also know for being flashing. In addition to the Peppermill, you should check out the Silver Legacy or the Eldorad (both have indoor pools). Have fun!!!

Haven't been to Reno in a long time and with little kids so the clubs and shows were out of the question. You will definately find what you are looking for there as far as touristy flashy stuff, good restaurants and Lake Tahoe is nearby.

You can watch shows , gable , eat , ride thoes rides.
